ICC Introduces New Rule in T20 Cricket

Slowover rate in T20 cricket will lead to reduce Fielder Outside 30 Yard Circle

Starting this month Icc announced new rule in T20 Cricket for Slowover rate, When the match is happening if the umpire announce match is going on slowover rate, then the new rule will be implement on Remaining over of the match.

Also Icc Announced the Optional Drinks interval for the innings, So it can be not used if the match is going on Slowover rate. Also ICC stated that “The over rate regulations are captured in clause 13.8 of the playing conditions , which stipulate that a fielding side must be in position to bowl the first ball of the final over of the innings by the scheduled or rescheduled time for the end of the innings, If they are not in such a position, one fewer fielder will be permitted outside of the 30-yard circle for the remaining overs of the innings.”

This Rule will be inititated from January 16, when the Matches Between Westindies and Ireland at Jamaica.
